Characteristic of swimming pools, saunas and spa facilities in the past the were the “chlorine smell” and “red eyes”. They are caused by the disinfectant solution chlorine, which is added to the water in the swimming pools.

The specially designed method for water treatment in swimming pools and recreational facilities, REDO®pool, produces a highly effective, combined with low energy consumption and salt, a non-aggressive hypochlorous acid, for immediate disinfecting application.
The disinfecting performance and disinfecting velocity of the on site produced active agents – chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone and oxygen - are considerably higher then with pure chlorine. Due to the reduction in the application of chlorine, there is less irritation of the skin and mucous membranes and comprehensively helps to significantly reduce the common chlorine odor in the swimming pool.
